The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section. SEOPW /CRA 62- 64 Section 2. The Board of Directors authorizes the Executive Director to provide technical and financial support to Real Men Cook Charities, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $18,000, for lease of sound equipment, the provision of tickets and transportation services for area youths and members of faith -based organizations to enable them to attend The 13th Annual Father's Day Real Men Cook Charity Event to be held at Florida Memorial College on June 16, 2002, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Section 3. The Executive Director is directed to provide administrative support to area businesses volunteering for the charity event and to file a report at the Board of Directors' June Meeting on all expenditures and activities related to the charity event. BACKGROUND The CRA recognizes the need to support activities that have a positive impact on the residents, particularly families. The Real Men Cook for Charity has been in existence for 13 years and has had several corporate sponsors such as Home Depot, Ford and Coca-Cola.
