A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
OMNI COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ("CRA")
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE
AN AGREEMENT, IN A FORM ACCEPTABLE TO THE
CITY ATTORNEY, WITH GRAU & COMPANY, P.A., FOR
GASB 34 IMPLEMENTATION AND TRAINING FOR
FISCAL YEAR 2003, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
$50,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE OMNI COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:

set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The Executive Director is hereby authorized to
execute an agreement, in a form acceptable to the City Attorney,
with Grau & Company, P.A., for GASB 34 implementaLion and training
for Fiscal year 2003, in an amount not to exceed $50,000.

Section 3. This resolution shall be effective immediately
upon its adoption.

A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE OMNI
COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY (CRA) AUTHORIZING
THE CRA EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT
WITH GRAU & COMPANY, P.A. IN A FORM ACCEPTABLE TO CRA
GENERAL COUNSEL IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $50,000, FOR
GASB 34 IMPLEMENTATION AND TRAINING FOR FISCAL YEAR
ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2002.
WHEREAS, the CRA, a component of the City of Miami is required to implement
Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB) Statement No. 34 for fiscal period
ending September 30, 2002.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE OMNI COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution

We look forward to assisting you in implementing the City of Miami Community Redevelopment
Agency's GASB Statement No. 34, Basic Financial Statements and Management's Disclosure
and Analysis for State and Local Governments.
In performing this service, we will rely on the accuracy and reliability of your historical financial
statements, fixed asset detail schedules, and other financial data of the Organization as
needed. Management is responsible for making all financial records and related information
available to us. We understand that you will provide us with the Information required and that
you are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of that information. We W41 advise you
about appropriate accounting principles and their application and will assist your organization
with the implementation of GASB #34 but the responsibility for the financial statements remains
with you. That responsibility includes the establishment and maintenance of adequate records
and effective internal controt over financial reporting and compliance, the selection and
application of accounting principles, and; the safeguarding of assets. We will not audit or review
this financial information provided by you and will not express an opinion of issue any other form
of assurance on it.
Our engagement cannot be relied upon to disclose errors irregularities, or illegal acts Including
fraud or defaications that might exist. The responsibility for the prevention of such matters rest
with management. However, we will inform you of any such matters that come to our attention.
Our fees for this service will be based on our standard hurly rates for consulting services. Our
standard hourly rates vary according to the degree of responsibility involved and the experience
level of the personnel assigned to the engagement as follows:
Partner S175
Manager $125
Senior $100
Staff $80
Should we encounter unusual circumstances that would require us to expand the scope of the
engagement, we will discuss this with you before doing the additional work Our fees are
payable upon receipt of our statement.
