As a result of the final completion of the fiscal year 2000-2001 audit the beginning balances were to not fully determined. KPMG as of July 12, 2002 completed the fieldwork required to issue the audit report. As a result the final beginning balances having been determined, a reallocation of resources are in order. Additionally, the City of Miami's Budget and Finance Department has agreed that the presentation of the funding for the Margaret Pace Park should be amended. The CRA agrees that as a result of the appropriations being on the City's books in various CIP and/or Special Revenues Fund, the facilitation of payment processing would negate the need for the CRA to present as "pass through contributions" in the budget of the CRA.
