The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The CRA Board of Directors hereby authorizes the CRA Executive Director to resolution authorizing the CRA Executive Director to amend the existing contract with Danville Findorff, in a form acceptable to the CRA General Counsel 1) authorizing the award of modified alternate `B" ("Bathrooms") under bid originally dated October 2001 2) for the acceleration of the construction of Margaret Pace Park by Labor Day weekend, August 31, 2002; further, authorizing the Executive Director to seek reimbursement from the City for the full cost of eligible contract activity expenditures, including all amendments through the Homeland defense/neighborhood improvement bond issue; further requesting the City Manager, 0MINITRA 02- 40 May 30, 2002 pursuant to City Code Section 36-6 a (i) and (c), to permit construction between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm, Monday through Saturday. BACKGROUND In an effort to expedite the completion of Margaret Pace Park, the CRA is interested in contracting with Danville Findorff for a modified Alternate B which will accelerate the project for completion by August 31, 2002. The acceleration authorizes Danville Findorff to work extended 6-7 days work weeks, with more manpower to complete the project.
