RESOLUTION NO. SEOPW/CRA _-
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ("CRA") TO DIRECT THE CITY
OF MIAMI ("CITY"), ACTING IN THE CAPACITY AS A
FIDUCIARY TO THE CRA, I) TO DEPOST ALL FUNDS
ALLOCATED OR DUE TO THE ACCOUNTS OF THE CRA AND
II) NOT TO MAKE WITHDRAWALS FROM ANY ACCOUNT OF
THE CRA WITHOUT THE PRIOR WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION
OF THE CRA.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami approved and adopted the Southeast
Overtown/Park West Community Redevelopment Plan pursuant to'
Resolution Nos. 82-755 and 85-1247 (the "Redevelopment Plan"); and
WHEREAS, the CRA is responsible for carrying out community
redevelopment activities and projects in the Southeast Overtown/Park West
Redevelopment Area (the "Redevelopment Area") established pursuant to the
Redevelopment Plan; and
WHEREAS, the CRA desires to direct the City, acting in the capacity
as fiduciary to the CRA, I) to deposit all funds allocated or due to the
accounts of the CRA and ii) not to make withdrawals from any account of the
CRA without the prior written authorization of the CRA.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to
this Resolution are incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The Board of Directors of the CRA hereby directs the City,
acting in the capacity as fiduciary to the CRA, I) to deposit all funds allocated
or due to the accounts of the CRA and ii) not to make withdrawals from any
account of the CRA without the prior written authorization of the CRA.
Section 3. The Board of Directors of the CRA hereby authorizes the
CRA to transmit the approved resolution to the City Commission for approval
and adoption.
AN Section 4. The resolution shall be effective upon its adoption.

RECOMMENDATION
It is respectfully recommended that the CRA Board of Directors adopt the attached resolution approving
the City of Miami as Fiduciary to the CRA.
BACKGROUND
Resolution authorizing the Community Redevelopment Agency ("CRA") to direct the City of Miami
("City"), acting in the capacity as a fiduciary to the CRA, i) to deposit all funds allocated or due to the
accounts of the CRA and ii) to not make withdrawals from any CRA account without written
authorization from the CRA. Further transmitting said resolution to the City of Miami Commission for
approval and adoption.
