OMNI/CRA R-00-47 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ("CRA") APPROVING CAPITAL PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS AS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED ON EXHIBIT "A' ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF (THE "PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS"). WHEREAS, the City of Miami approved and adopted the Omni Area Redevelopment Plan pursuant to Resolution Nos. 86-868 and 86-607 (the "Redevelopment Plan"); and WHEREAS, the CRA is responsible for carrying out community redevelopment activities and projects in the Omni Redevelopment Area (the "Redevelopment Area") established pursuant to the Redevelopment Plan; and WHEREAS, the CRA desires to approve the Projects and Programs. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The Board of Directors of CRA hereby approves the Projects and Programs described on Exhibit A. Section 3. This resolution shall be effective upon its adoption. CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA INTER -OFFICE MEMORANDUM DATE SUBJECT REFERENCES September 18, 2000 FILE OMNI/CRA Capital Projects and Programs ENCLOSURES Resolution and Budget RECOMMENDATION It is recommended that the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) Board, approve the attached resolution, which outlines the Capital Projects Budget estimate for fiscal year 2001 for the OMNI Community Redevelopment Agency (OMNI CRA). The proposed budget for fiscal year 2001 is $976,450 a decrease of $359,699 over the fiscal year 2000 adopted budget, which is based upon a reduction in various sources including Safe Neighborhood Bonds and the Florida Inland Navigation District Grant.
