A JOINT RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTHEAST
OVERTOWN/PARK WEST COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND THE COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE OMNI AREA
(COLLECTIVELY, THE "CRA") AUTHORIZING THE
CRA TO AMEND THE CRA BUDGET TO INCLUDE AN
ADDITIONAL BUDGET LINE ITEM AMOUNT OF
$75,000 IN CONNECTION WITH THE PURSUIT OF
LEGISLATION TO CREATE A SALES TAX INCREMENT
DISTRICT FOR THE PROVISION OF LEGAL SERVICES
BY HOLLAND & KNIGHT LLP.
WHEREAS, the CRA desires to amend the CRA budget to include an
additional budget line item amount of $75,000 in connection with the pursuit
of legislation to create a sales tax increment district for the provision of legal
services by Holland & Knight LLP.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to
this Resolution are incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The CRA is hereby authorized to amend the CRA budget
to include an additional budget line item amount of $75,000 in connection
with the pursuit of legislation to create a sales tax increment district for the
provision of legal services by Holland & Knight LLP.
Section 3. This resolution shall be effective upon its adoption.
