Please make arrangements to publish a Notice of Public Hearing for objections to the MLK Boulevard
Beautification Services ("Services"), and waiving of the requirements for formal sealed bids, for the provision
of landscaping services for specific area of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard. These Services are to be
provided by Greater Miami Service Corps., a company, qualified to do business in the State of Florida whose
principal address is 810 NW 28th Street, Miami, FL 33127.

The public hearing has been scheduled for May 26, 2022.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing will be held by the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida on
Thursday, May 26, 2022, at 9.00 A.M. in the City Commission Chambers located at City
Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida 33013, for the purpose of MLK Boulevard
Beautification Services ("Services"), and for waiving the requirements of obtaining
sealed bids for the provision of landscaping services for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Boulevard. These Services are to be provided by Greater Miami Services Corps., a
company, qualified to do business in the State of Florida whose principal address is 810
NW 28th Street, Miami, Florida 33127.
Inquiries from other potential sources of such a package who feel that they might be
able to satisfy the City's requirements for this item may contact Annie Perez, CPPO,
Director, at the City of Miami Department of Procurement at (305) 416-1910.
All interested persons are invited to appear at the meeting and may be heard with respect
to the proposed resolution. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City
Commission with respect to any matter to be considered at this meeting, that person
shall ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made including all testimony
and evidence upon which any appeal may be based (F.S. 286.0105).
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons needing special
accommodations to participate in this proceeding may contact the Office of the City Clerk
at (305) 250-5361 (Voice) no later than five (5) business days prior to the proceeding.
