ENCLOSURES:
The second public hearing in connection with the OMNI/CRA.is
scheduled to take place on Thursday, June 29th, 1995, beginning
at 7:00 p.m., at the Grand Condominium and Doubletree Grand
Hotel, in the Key West and ,Key Biscayne Banquet Rooms (RG -
Mezzanine Level), located at 1.717 North Bayshore Drive, Miami,
Florida.
We again request that you direct a staff person to pick-up the
necessary audio equipment from City Hall, and install it in the
above -cited location. We will also again need two (2) podium
microphones, and two (2) remote microphones.
Kindly direct the appropriate personnel in your Communications
Division to assist us with the transportation of all of the
necessary equipment to the aforementioned site.
It is respectfully requested that your communication staff ensure
the safe return of our equipment to City Hall at the end of said
meeting.
Attached hereto is the suggested floor plan, a modification to
our traditional "U" shape configuration for the placement of
chairs, tables, our recording equipment, as well as the seating
arrangement for the CRA and the 'City Staff, which was used at the
June 15th meeting. '
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to
contact Ms. Haydee Regueyra at 250-5352.

At the OMNI/CRA meeting of May 11th, the Board of Directors passed OMNI/CRA Motion 95-2,
which called for two public hearings, one to be held in the affected district and the second to be
held in City Hall Commission Chambers. At the OMNI/CRA meeting held on June 15th, the
above -mentioned second public hearing was scheduled for Thursday, June 29th at 7 p.m. Its
venue was changed to be held at the Grand. Condominium and Doubletree Grand Hotel, in the
Key West and Key Biscayne Banquet Rooms (RG - Mezzanine Level), located at 1717 North
Bayshore Drive instead of City Hall Chambers.
It would be in order for the Board of Directors of the OMNI/CRA to reconsider its prior
OMNI/CRA Motion 95-2 to reflect that both public hearings will be held in the OMNI area.
