PLEASE ALL TAKE NOTICE THAT a special meeting will be held by the
City of Miami Commission in its capacity as the Community
Redevelopment Agency (CRA), as an official public hearing, on
Thursday, June 15, 1995, at 7:00 p.m. in the Key West and Key
Biscayne Banquet Rooms of The Grand Condominium and The
Doubletree Grand Hotel on Biscayne Bay, 1717 N. Bayshore Drive,
Mezzanine Floor, Miami, Florida to discuss the Interlocal
Agreement between the Community Redevelopment Agency and Metro -
Dade County as well as to solicit community input on a possible
amendment to the Omni Redevelopment Plan to include the Homeless
Housing Center.,and the Performing Arts Theater. At the meeting a
question and answer forum will be provided to residents of the
Omni area regarding the possible amendment to the Omni
Redevelopment Plan.
All decisions made by this board will become a part of the
official public records.
Valet parking available at The Grand Condominium and The
Doubletree Grand Hotel on Biscayne Bay, 1717 N. Bayshore Drive.
Parking is also available in the Omni parking garage, and there
is limited off-street parking adjacent to Mary Pace Park.

Pursuant to passage of Omni/CRA Motion 95-2 (copy attached) at
the City Commission meeting of May 11, 1995, the City of Miami
Commission, which convened as the Community Redevelopment Agency
(CRA), scheduled a public hearing to take place on Thursday, June
15th, 1995, beginning at 7:00 p.m., at the Grand Condominium and
Doubletree Hotel, in the Key West and Key Largo Banquet Rooms
(RT - All Meeting Level), located at 717 North Bayshore Drive,
Miami, Florida. The purpose of said public hearing is to discuss
the Interlocal Agreement between the CRA and Metropolitan Dade
County, and to solicit community input on a possible amendment to
the Omni Area Redevelopment Plan as it relates to the Homeless
Housing Center Component, and the Performing Arts Center.
The aforementioned Motion conveyed with it a direction to
advertise said public hearing in local media sources (including
newspapers and radio). Attached hereto, also please find a copy
of the proposed Notice to the Public in connection with said
public hearing.
We respectfully request that you contact local radio sources in
furtherance of said public hearing.
