PUBLIC HEARING
Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 9:00 A.M.
Federal regulations governing CDBG and other HUD programs require that a participating jurisdiction provide citizens with
reasonable notice of and an opportunity to comment on any new allocation and/or amendment of HUD programs. In
addition, the public is advised of the new allocation(s)/ amendment(s) to the funding of the City program(s) as indicated
below: * t
1. Discussion and proposed resolution approving the City of Miami Department of Housing and
Community Development's Affordable Housing Incentive Strategies ("Strategies") as recommended by
the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee ("AHAC") and as required by Section 420.9076, Florida
Statutes.
2. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing increasing the Single Family Rehabilitation program
and Single Family Replacement Home program ("programs") subsidy amount from $50,000 to
$70,000 and from $150,000 to $250,000, respectively.
3. Discussion and proposed an ordinance of the Miami City Commission amending Chapter 2/Article XI
of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, Titled "Boards, Committees, Commissions," by
removing the reference to the Housing Opportunities for Persons with Aids ("HOPWA") Advisory
Board ("HAB"); confirming the abolishment of the HAB; containing a severability clause; and providing
for an immediate effective date.
4. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the transfer of Emergency Solution Grant ("ESG-
CV2") in the amount of $660,000.00 from Camillus House, Inc. to the City of Miami, Department of
Human Services, as specified below:

t t This item(s) will be available for public comment and review for a period of no less than 5 days. The review and comment period
begin, Friday, December 3, 2021, and ends Wednesday, December 8, 2021. The proposed funding recommendation(s)/
amendment(s) will be presented to City Commission for approval on Thursday, December 9, 2021 (Virtual Public Hearing) as
authorized by HUD.
