SECTION 2-64 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED,
THAT WILL DIRECT THE CITY ATTORNEY TO PREPARE AN AMENDMENT TO THE
CHARTER OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED, FOR THE PURPOSES
OF THE APPOINTMENT BY THE CITY MANAGER OF THE CHIEF OF THE POLICE
DEPARTMENT AND THE CHIEF OF THE FIRE -RESCUE DEPARTMENT BY A
COMMITTEE PROCESS AND FOR PLACEMENT ON THE NEXT CITY OF MIAMI
GENERAL ELECTION.
