A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENTS,
APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE ANNUAL BUDGET OF THE LIBERTY CITY
COMMUNITY REVITALIZATION TRUST ("TRUST"), ATTACHED AND
INCORPORATED AS COMPOSITE EXHIBIT "A", IN THE AMOUNT OF $809,711.00
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 2020 AND ENDING
SEPTEMBER 30, 2021; FURTHER APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE TRUST'S
MASTER PLAN, ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED AS COMPOSITE EXHIBIT "B".
WHEREAS, the City of Miami ("City") created and established the Liberty City
Community Revitalization Trust ("Trust") pursuant to Ordinance No. 12859 adopted October 12,
2006, as subsequently amended; and
WHEREAS, the Trust is responsible for the oversight and facilitation of the City's
revitalization and redevelopment activities in the Liberty City area as well as for the District 5
neighborhoods owner -occupied affordable housing improvements grant program for low income
homeowners; and
WHEREAS, Section 12.5-36 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended,
provides that the Trust shall submit a budget to the City Commission for approval in a form
acceptable to the City Manager ("Budget") and also submit an annual master plan ("Plan"); and
WHEREAS, on August 19, 2020, the governing body of the Trust reviewed and
approved the Trust's Budget in the amount of $809,711.00 for Fiscal Year 2020-2021, attached
and "incorporated as Composite Exhibit "A", and the Plan, attached and incorporated as
Composite Exhibit "B"; and
WHEREAS, the Trust requests the approval of the Fiscal Year 2020-2021 Budget in the
total amount of $809,711.00, attached and incorporated as Composite Exhibit "A", and the Plan,
attached and incorporated as Composite Exhibit "B";
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are
incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The Fiscal Year 2020-2021 Trust Budget in the amount of $809,711.00,
attached and incorporated as Composite Exhibit "A," and the Plan, attached and incorporated
as Composite Exhibit "B", are approved and adopted.
Section 3. This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its adoption and
signature of the Mayor.'
APPROVED AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS:

' If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten (10) calendar days
from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective
immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
