Enclosed you will find an ad for a notice of a public hearing to be held by the City Commission on July 22,
2021, for the purpose of granting to Florida Power and Light Company, a perpetual, non-exclusive, ten foot
(10') wide underground easement of approximately seven thousand four hundred eighteen (7,418) square feet
of City -owned property located at 1061 MacArthur Causeway (Folio: 01-3231-000-0010), Miami, Florida.
Please place the ad in accordance with public hearing requirements of the City Commission.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing will be held by the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida on Thursday,
July 22, 2021, at 9:00 A.M. at City Hall, located at 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida,
33133, for the purpose of granting the following:
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, PURSUANT TO SECTION 29-B(C) OF
THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED, AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE A GRANT OF EASEMENT ("EASEMENT"), IN A FORM
ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY ATTORNEY, TO THE FLORIDA POWER & LIGHT COMPANY, A
FLORIDA PROFIT CORPORATION, FOR A PERPETUAL, NON-EXCLUSIVE, TEN FOOT (10')
WIDE UNDERGROUND EASEMENT OF APPROXIMATELY SEVEN THOUSAND FOUR
HUNDRED EIGHTEEN (7,418) SQUARE FEET ("EASEMENT AREA") OF CITY -OWNED
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1061 MACARTHUR CAUSEWAY (FOLIO: 01-3231-000-0010),
MIAMI, FLORIDA ("PROPERTY"), AS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THE
EASEMENT, FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTION, OPERATION, AND MAINTENANCE
OF UNDERGROUND ELECTRIC UTILITY FACILITIES (INCLUDING CABLES, CONDUITS,
APPURTENANT EQUIPMENT, AND APPURTENANT ABOVE GROUND EQUIPMENT) IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE EASEMENT, WITH THE
RIGHT TO RECONSTRUCT, IMPROVE, AND REMOVE ALL OR ANY OF THE FACILITIES
WITHIN SAID EASEMENT AREA LOCATED AT THE PROPERTY.
Said proposed resolution may be inspected by the public at the Office of the City Clerk, 3500 Pan
American Drive, Miami, Florida 33133, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, between the
hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., or http://miamifl.igm2.com five days before the date of the Commission
Meeting.
All interested persons are invited to appear at the meeting and may be heard with respect to the
proposed resolution. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission with
respect to any matter to be considered at this meeting, that person shall ensure that a verbatim
record of the proceedings is made including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal
may be based (F.S. 286.0105).
