Sec. 53-52. - Regulations generally.
In addition to any other laws applicable to the operation of the Marine Stadium, the following regulations are hereby established:
(1) At times other than when public events are scheduled, it shall be unlawful to trespass on the water and land area comprising the city's
Marine Stadium without written permission from the city or a properly designated representative thereof.
(2) It shall be unlawful to bring canned or bottled goods into the Marine Stadium grandstand.
(3) It shall be unlawful to build fires for any purpose at the Marine Stadium on land or in the boats.
(4) It shall be unlawful to have an animal or other pet in the grandstand.
(5) The following activities are unlawful on the land and water area comprising the Marine Stadium unless any of such activities has been
specifically authorized: boat traffic, waterskiing, picnicking and fishing.
(6) Other than the area designated for use by self-contained camper trailers, it shall be unlawful to park a motor vehicle, or to anchor, moor
or dock a boat overnight anywhere in the Marine Stadium area or to use any portion or facility of the Marine Stadium for overnight lodging.
(7) The public shall have access to the boat hoist and boatramp facilities at the Marine Stadium during daylight hours at times
when events are not being conducted. There is hereby established a fee of $5.00 as payment for the use of the boat hoist, but there shall
be no charge for the use of the boatramp.
(8) A land area at the Marine Stadium shall be designated wherein self-contained camper trailers may be parked and utilized for overnight
loading at a fee to be established by ordinance. The city manager shall establish such regulations necessary for the control and
management of this operation.

(7) The public shall have access to the boat hoist and boatramp facilities at the Marine Stadium
during daylight hours at times when events are not being conducted. There is hereby established a fee
of $5.00 as payment for the use of the boat hoist, but there shall be no charge for the use of the
boatramp.

RESOLUTION NO. 2019 — 04
A RESOLUTION OF THE FLORIDA INLAND NAVIGATION
DISTRICT SUPPORTING A COMPREHENSIVE MANAGEMENT
APPROACH TO REGULATION OF ACTIVITIES IN THE MARINE
STADIUM BASIN IN ORDER TO PROMOTE SAFETY AND
INCREASED LAW ENFORCEMENT; EMPHASIZING THE NEED TO
PREVENT THE SAFETY HAZARDS CREATED BY DERELICT
VESSELS; URGING BROAD REVIEW AND DISSEMINATION OF ANY
SUCH PROPOSALS WITH WATERWAY CONSTITUENT GROUPS;
AND OPPOSING THE CREATION OF A "VESSEL EXCLUSION ZONE"
WITHOUT ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATION FOR OTHER
IMPORTANT SAFETY AND MANAGEMENT ISSUES WITHIN THE
MARINE STADIUM BASIN; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, at the October 11, 2019 Board of Commissioners meeting of the Florida
Inland Navigation District (FIND), it was brought to the attention of the Board that various efforts
are underway to initiate a vessel exclusion zone in the Miami Marine Stadium Basin (Basin),
VVEEREAS, the proposed vessel exclusion zone implemented by revisions to Ordinance 50, Section 42
of the Code of the City of Miami would limit the area of the exclusion zone to paddle and oar powered vessels
only, and
WMREAS, there appears to be existing and ongoing conflicts in the Basin among existing user groups
that could lead to additional safely concerns, and
WHIREAS, FIND supports the enjoyment of the Basin by all various user
paddle and other recreational activities, and
