VIRTUAL PUBLIC HEARING
Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 9:00 A.M.
Federal regulations governing CDBG and other HUD programs require that a participating jurisdiction provide citizens with reasonable
notice of and an opportunity to comment on any new allocation and/ or amendment of HUD programs. In addition, the public is
advised of the new allocation(s)/ amendment(s) to the fundine of the Citv proeram(s) as indicated below: * t
1. Discuss and proposed resolution allocating an additional Forty (40) vouchers from the Department of Housing
and Community Development ("Department") to Miami -Dade County Homeless Trust ("MDHT") to refer eligible
applicants to the City of Miami's ("City") Moving on Program, for non -elderly persons with disabilities who are
homeless, at risk of homelessness, or previously homeless and are currently in permanent supportive housing or
in a rapid rehousing project, according to the City's Mainstream Voucher program guidelines.
2. Discuss and proposed resolution transferring Community Development Block Grant funds in the amount of
$809,722.20 from the Department of Housing and Community Development to the agencies and/or department,
as specified below, for economic development activities.

3. Discuss and proposed resolution allocating Program Income from Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG")
funds generated from August 1, 2020 to January 31, 2021 in the amount of $139,770.27 for eligible housing and
economic development activities.

4. Discuss and proposed resolution allocating Program Income from Home Investment Partnership ("HOME")
program funds generated from August 1, 2020 to January 31, 2021 in the amount of $75,878.04 and an
additional amount of $49,530.00 of recaptured funds, for a total amount of $125,408.04 for eligible housing
activities.

5. Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the transfer of the second allocation of Emergency Solutions Grant
("ESG-CV2") funds, in the amount of $5,028,813.18 from the Department of Housing and Community
Development ("Department") to Camillus House, Inc., for Rapid Rehousing and Homeless prevention activities.
(Deferred on January 14, 2021 CCM)
The adoption of an Ordinance or Resolution by the City Commission, related to the proposed funding recommendation(s)/
amendment(s), authorizes the City Manager to draft/amend the appropriate City of Miami Action Plan.
t t This item(s) will be available for public comment and review for a period of no less than 5 days. The review and comment period
begin, Friday, April 16, 2021 and ends Wednesday, April 21, 2021. The proposed funding recommendation(s)/amendment(s) will be
presented to City Commission for approval on Thursday, April 22, 2021 (Virtual Public Hearing) as authorized by HUD.
