As you are aware, the City of Miami recently held an election for the Civil Service Board
on Thursday, April 15, 2021 and Friday, April 16, 2021. The results of the election are as
follows:

one (1) of the votes cast and is hereby declared to have been elected to Civil Service
Board Seat No. 1.

In the race for Seat No. 2, Travis J. Lindsey received more than fifty percent (50%) plus
one (1) of the votes cast and is hereby declared to have been elected to Civil Service
Board Seat No. 2. (Note: Only one (1) candidate appeared on the ballot for Seat No. 2.)
For your information, a resolution confirming the City Clerk's Certification and
Declaration of Results for the Civil Service Board Election held on April 15, 2021 and
April 16, 2021, has been placed on the agenda for the May 13, 2021 Miami City
Commission Meeting.
Additionally, included with this correspondence are the OFFICIAL election results
containing summary information on the election as well as a detailed breakdown of the
election results by precinct.

CERTIFICATION BY HONEST BALLOT LLC
Honest Ballot LLC assigned personnel to supervise an in -person Election of Board Members
for the City of Miami Civil Service Board. The election was conducted from 7:00 A.M. to
5:30 P.M. on Thursday, April 15, 2021 and Friday, April 16, 2021. Tabulation of the
unofficial election results took place immediately following the close of polls.
HONEST BALLOT HEREBY CERTIFIES that the election was conducted fairly, honestly
and in accordance with the City of Miami laws and policies governing the Civil Service Board
Election.
HONEST BALLOT HEREBY CERTIFIES four hundred & seventy-four (474) voters
voted in -person on six (6) voting machines. Two (2) voting stations were set up at each of
three locations. The polls were open from 7:00 A.M. until 5:30 P.M. on both days in the
following locations:
Precinct 1 Miami Police Department, 400 NW 2"d Ave, Miami, FL
Precinct 2 Solid Waste Department, 1290 NW 20"' St, Miami, FL
Precinct 3 Miami Riverside Center, 444 SW 2"d Ave, Miami, FL.
HONEST BALLOT HEREBY CERTIFIES that four hundred & seventy-four (474) votes
were cast and tallied and that the official results of the Miami Civil Service Board Election are
as follows:
