Hannon References: Agenda for April 8, 2021 City Clerk Enclosures: List of members The Code Enforcement Board was created to issue orders having the force of law commanding whatever steps are necessary to bring a Code violation into compliance. Florida Statutes Section 162.05(2) requires members of the Code Enforcement Board to be residents of the City of Miami. City Code Section 2-812 states that whenever possible, the board is to consist of an architect, a businessperson, an engineer, a general contractor, a subcontractor, and a realtor. Six (6) appointments are required at this time: • Commissioner Alex Diaz de la Portilla has one (1) nomination for a seat currently held by:"' 1. Jose Garcia, incumbent, whose term expired on November 26, 2019. • Commissioner Joe Carollo has one (1) nomination for a seat currently held by: 1. Shaun Spector, incumbent, whose term expired on March 8, 2021. • Commissioner Jeffrey Watson has one (1) nomination for a seat currently :3 1. Vacant. (Samuel Latimore resigned effective October 29, 2020) • Commission -At -Large has three (3) nominations for seats currently: 1. Vacant. (Seat previously held by Allyson Warren)' 2. Vacant, Alternate Member. (Verania `Betty" Hermida resigned effective March 8, 2019)5 3. Vacant, Alternate Member.
