Federal regulations governing CDBG and other HUD programs require that a participating jurisdiction provide citizens with reasonable notice of and an opportunity to comment on any new allocation and/ or amendment of HUD programs. In addition, the public is advised of the new allocation(s)/ amendment(s) to the fundine of the Citv proeram(s) as indicated below: * t 1. Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the transfer of Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG") funds in the amount of $2,287,998.20 from the Department of Housing and Community Development to the agencies/and or departments, as specified below: Agencies/Department Description of Services CDBG ED Funding PY:2020-2021 Department of Resilience and Public Works Sidewalk and Street Improvement $433,118.00 Department of Parks and Recreation Park Construction $494,208.00 Department of Housing and Community Development To be allocated $1,360,672.20 TOTAL CDBG ED ALLOCATIONS PY:2020-21 $2,287,998.20 2. Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the City Manager to convey, with affordable/workforce housing restrictions and reverter provisions, of certain City of Miami ("City") owned parcel of land located approximately at 714 Northwest 4 Avenue, Miami, Florida, to Southeast Overtown/park West Community Redevelopment Agency ("SEOPW CRA"), for the purpose of creating affordable/workforce housing, for eligible low to moderate and workforce income persons. The adoption of an Ordinance or Resolution by the City Commission, related to the proposed funding recommendation(s)/ amendment(s), authorizes the City Manager to draft/amend the appropriate City of Miami Action Plan. t t This item(s) will be available for public comment and review for a period of no less than 5 days. The review and comment period begin, Friday, November 13, 2020 and ends Wednesday, November 18, 2020. The proposed funding recommendation(s)/ amendment(s) will be presented to City Commission for approval on Thursday, November 19, 2020 (Virtual Public Hearing) as authorized by HUD. All VPHs will be held on an ADA compliant web -based platform.
