Subsequently, the City Clerk's Office informed Planning staff that an updated application was required. Staff made several unsuccessful attempts to contact the School Board in -light of the incoming school closure due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. Unfortunately, MDCPS reserved seat will remain vacant unless the Mayor and City Commission consider the Superintendent of Schools previous 2019 recommendations. Should the Mayor and City Commission move to consider, staff recommends Mabel Morales for the Reserved Miami -Dade County Schools seat on the AIPP Board.
