Background of Item: The Department of Housing and Community Development ("Department") receives various types of repayments from loans provided to developers and homeowners, referred to as program income that are required to be used for eligible program activities. From February 1, 2020 to July 31, 2020 the Department collected $193,998.06 in Home Investment Partnership ("HOME") program income. Pursuant to HOME regulations 24 CFR Part 92.503, program income must be used for eligible HOME activities. The City Administration recommends the allocation of the program income generated February 1, 2020 to July 31, 2020 in the total amount of $193,998.06, as specified in Exhibit "A" attached and incorporated, which are eligible HOME activities. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The allocation of HOME program income from February 1, 2020 to July 31, 2020 in the amount of $193,998.06 to the categories specified in Exhibit "A," attached and incorporated, is authorized.'
