Please note that Governor Ron DeSantis' Executive Order("E.O.")Number
20-193 extended E.O.20-69 suspending the requirement that a quorum be
present in person or that a local government body meet at a specific public
place. The Executive Order also allows local government bodies to utilize
communications media technology,such as telephonic and video conferencing
for local government body meetings.
The virtual public hearing will be broadcast from Miami City Hall for the purpose
of receiving public comment on the proposed legislation. The September
24,2020 public hearing will be held as a VIRTUAL HEARING with elected

suspendiendo el requisito de que haya quorum presencial o que un organismo del gobierno local se reuna en un lugar
publico especifico. La Orden Ejecutiva tambien permite que los organismos del gobierno local utilicen tecnologia de
medios de comunicaciOn, como conferencias telefOnicas y de video para las reuniones del organismo del gobierno local.
La audiencia pUblica virtual se transmitira desde el Ayuntamiento de Miami con el fin de recibir comentarios publicos
sobre la Iegislacion propuesta. La audiencia pUblica del 24 de septiembre de 2020 se Ilevara a cabo como una
AUDIENCIA VIRTUAL con la participaciOn de funcionarios electos y personal de la Ciudad a traves de
videoconferencias. Esta audiencia virtual se transmitira en vivo para que el publico Ia vea en el sitio web de Ia ciudad
(www.miamigov.com/tv), Facebook, Twitter, Periscope, YouTube y el Canal 77 (Comcast solo para residentes que viven
en la ciudad de Miami).
