NOTICE OF SPECIAL CITY COMMISSION MEETING
Pursuant to Section 2-33(I) of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida,
as amended, a special meeting of the Miami City Commission
will be held on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Miami
City Hall located at 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida. The
purpose of this special meeting is to discuss and take any and all
actions associated with the following items: 1) Reappointment of Todd
B. Hannon as City Clerk; 2) Reappointment of Victoria Mendez as City
Attorney; 3) Allocation of $15,000.00 from the Mayor's share of the
Anti -Poverty Fund to People United to Lead the Struggle for Equality,
Inc. ("P.U.L.S.E."); 4) Noise and alcohol waivers for Superbowl 2020
related events for the Wynwood Business Improvement District; 5)
Keys to the City and City Proclamations; 6) Racial Equality within the
Miami Police Department; 7) Key to the City; 8) Appointment of the
elected officials on various boards, trust, authorities, committees, and
agencies; 9) Employment Status of the City Manager.
No business shall be conducted or a vote taken at a special City
Commission meeting on business other than the subject(s) for which
the special meeting is called.
All interested persons are invited to attend this meeting. Should any
person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission with
respect to any matter to be considered at this meeting, that person shall
ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made including all
testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may be based (F.S.
286.0105).
