We are less that 1% of those that access procurement oppurtunities in our State, County and City of Miami. While the City of Miami has invested millions of federal dollars in non-competitive process for federal funds, we find that it is unfairly more challenging when we compete with organizations that are not engaged in comparible process. When Allocations are made.... Mr. Mayor & City Commissioners. The need to assist Small business owners in the city of Miami is paramount. A small business initiative is what possibly needed now. It will assist businesses with a grant of $10,000 to assist them to pay rent - mortgage & other expenses. City N/A had this program a long time ago. Now it needs to be restarted now. Residents also needs help. Citrus health network needs to step up now. No court orders or final notice should be needed. Because tenants or landlords can't get that now. DCHD needs to think outside the box to help businesses & residents. One of the largest studies conducted of COVID-19 infection in the US has found that obesity of patients was the single biggest factor, after age. Exercise is crucial for immune, mental and social health. I believe "Private" Boutique N/A Training studios that are able to control environment, time, workout, structure and keep social distancing in place should be allowed to reopen. We have built a tremendous community and they need us for both physical and mental health. Thank you for your consideration pp Are you a lobbyist? No No As only tenants are eligible to apply for the Rent and Utility N/A Assistance Program, will there be No any type of assistance/support also for low-income homeowners who are struggling to pay their utilities?
