Program/Project Title: MULE EDUCATES with tools for the Arts
Project/Program Description: MUCE EDUCATES will train young men & women
with priority to district 5 residents in a three month program on the necessary
skills and tools to install art. The course will also include wood work (framing),
working with resin, art handling/packaging, working with drills, measuring tape, level. paint.

Miami?
District 5 applicants receive priority to the program, thus priority to all contracts that follow completion of the program. During the program,
participants have income opportunities by working art gigs directly through WCE. & paid contracting for the fall art season with WCE and arts
partners. The jobs will aid participants in avoiding economic hardship and bring funds into the local community.

IMPACT AND PERFORMANCE:
Describe overall expected outcomes and performance measures for this project/program:
To train workforce that will increase the capacity of number of jobs booked. MUCE will have
capacity to acquire multiple art gigs with an increase in specialized labor force. MUCE will
cultivate talent direct from district 5 first. Fifty percent of the program will be reserved for city of
Miami residents in order to reduce/alleviate poverty in the area. A survey will be provided at the
beginning of the program and at the end to confirm job placement with a follow up 3 months
after. The program will serve as a bridge program for direct referral and recommendation to
production apprenticeship programs such as the Adrienne Arsht Center technical apprenticeship
program. Which is a full time paid technical program for youth 18-24.
