A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE MIAMI
DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA ("MIAMI DDA") PURSUANT TO SECTIONS 14-56(B)91) AND
14-58(A) OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS
AMENDED, APPOINTING CHRISTINA CRESPI AS THE EXECUTIVE
DIRECTOR OF THE MIAMI DDA EFFECTIVE UPON CONFIRMATION BY
THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION WITH SALARY, BENEFITS, AND
EXPECTATIONS TO BE DETERMINED BY THE ANNUAL REVIEW
COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 14-56(b)(1) and 14-58(a) of the Code of the City of
Miami, Florida, as amended ("City Code"), the Board of Directors of the Miami Downtown
Development Authority of the City of Miami, Florida ("Miami DDA") shall appoint an Executive
Director of the Miami DDA; and
WHEREAS, the Executive Director position has been vacant since December 31, 2019
when Alyce Robertson ("Robertson") retired; and
WHEREAS, Christina Crespi ("Crespi") has been serving as Acting Executive Director
of the Miami DDA since Robertson's retirement; and
WHEREAS, prior to serving as Acting Executive Director, Crespi has served as Deputy
Director of the Miami DDA; and
WHEREAS, Crespi has served in an exemplary manner as both Deputy Director and
Acting Executive Director; and
WHEREAS, Crespi has demonstrated her ability to serve as Executive Director of the
Miami DDA;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE MIAMI
DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are
adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. Crespi is appointed as the Executive Director of the Miami DDA pursuant to
Sections 14-56(b)(1) and 14-58(a) of the City Code effective upon confirmation by the Miami
City Commission.
Section 3. An Annual Review Committee is hereby established and delegated with the
authority to set the salary, benefits, and expectations of Crespi in her role as Executive Director.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption
